Cool Season Grasses
Cool season grasses in Oklahoma
include fine & thick bladed fescue. A few of our favorites are
Tulsa, Triad & Rebel. Keep in mind these are general
tips for zone 6-7. All watering and mowing recommendations are based
on the average environmental conditions. You may need to adjust the
recommendations below to better satisfy your particular conditions.
January

Over-seeding may be done late in the
month.

Water 1 inch weekly, if needed.

Other Timely Tips

Remember: Fescue likes the shade!
